Kabeção é um multi-instrumentalista, intérprete de handpan e explorador sonoro que actua por todo o mundo, cria música inspiradora e toca em contextos variados com músicos talentosos das mais diversas origens. O caminho de Kabeção para o sucesso tem sido marcado por acontecimentos memoráveis. Foi finalista no programa Got Talent Portugal e o seu álbum “Touching Souls” (lançado em Setembro de 2017) foi aguardado com expectativa e completamente financiado por melómanos e músicos de todo o mundo. “Touching Souls” excedeu as expectativas e objectivos durante a sua concepção e mantém-se fiel ao seu título, tocando-nos a alma. É algo completamente inédito. Com o seu espírito gentil, natureza lúdica e execução emotiva, a música de Kabeção parece transcender o tempo e o espaço. Este é um músico único na medida em que combina a sua habilidade enquanto percussionista com a nobre essência de um contador de histórias melódico, condensando experiências através dos canais de aço cantante.
Carlos Rodrigues, também conhecido por Kabeção, é um multi-instrumentalista, compositor, artista de rua e curandeiro sonoro português que cria uma abordagem única à música e ao som. O artista redefiniu as possibilidades musicais da handpan com o seu estilo poético e percussivo original. Ao tocar múltiplos instrumentos em simultâneo, cria música que é bela, hipnotizante e intensa. A sua humildade generosa permitem que todos alcancem um lugar de enorme paz e de bem-estar.
Kabeção começou muito jovem com percussão e ritmo e adicionou mais tarde outros tipos de instrumentos, desde cordas a madeiras, concentrando-se na simples exploração do som. É autodidacta e tem combinado influências de diferentes partes do mundo. Brilha com a técnica original que usa ao tocar cada um dos seus instrumentos. Desde 2008, participou nos seguintes projectos: Tribolados (Reggae/Ska), Hikari (Drum ’n’ Bass/Jungle/Bossa Nova), T3ka (Trance acústico), Gapura (Klezmer/World Jazz) e Khayalan (Música Etno-contemporânea e do Mundo). Música editada: Primeiro EP a solo “High Gain Natural Awakening”, lançado em 2012, LP "Cosmic Seed", lançado em 2014, e Duplo LP "Touching Souls", lançado em 2017.

Kabeção is a multi-instrumentalist, handpan player and sound explorer who plays all around the world, creates inspiring music and performs in various settings with talented musicians from all walks of life. Kabeção’s road to stardom has been punctuated by memorable milestones. He was a finalist on “Portugal’s Got Talent” and his album, “Touching Souls” (released in September 2017), was long awaited and completely crowd-funded by music lovers and players from all around the world. “Touching Souls” exceeded expectations and targets, and the album holds true to its name. It is like nothing you have experienced before. With his gentle spirit, playful nature and emotive playing, Kabeção’s music seems to transcend time and space. He is a standalone player in terms of combining the skills of a percussionist with the great essence of a melodic storyteller, encapsulating experiences through the singing steel.
Carlos Rodrigues, aka Kabeção, is a Portuguese multi-instrumentalist, composer, street busker and sound healer who crafts his own unique approach to music and sound.
He has redefined the musical possibilities of the handpan with his unique poetic and percussive style. By playing multiple instruments simultaneously, he creates beautiful, mesmerising and intense music. His warm-hearted humility allows everyone to come home to a place of profound peace and wellbeing.
Kabeção was involved with percussion and rhythm from a very young age, and then added other types of instruments, from strings to woodwind. His focus is the simple exploration of sound. He is self-taught and has combined influences from different parts of the world. He exhibits unique playing techniques on each of his instruments.
